Thanks, It is OK, I am having to drive a 19mpg Jeep right now, but not forever! I will convert it to run on HHO, or traded it in for something that gets 40 to 50 mpg, or win the lotto and get a Volt.

I saw this when I was filling up my 19mpg Durango at the Raceway station. Didn’t think it was a $30K vehicle, figured it was a 60-100mi range thing like a GEM and was probably half that. With a 250 mile range and a 6-8hr charge time, this fits ALMOST all our needs. Problem is we’ve got 5 kids. So I’d need a longer one, with a third row seat. If they can make this work with 5 seats, 75mph, 250mi range, a longer one can hold a few more batteries, have 7 seats, 75mph, and maybe a 200mi range. It’s not often we drive more than 200 miles in a day. This is big news. I truly hope they’re able to pass EPA/Federal certifications. For $30,000 this is a way better choice than say, a Ford Edge or a Chevy Equinox.
